An Indian multinational manufacturing company, Mahindra has taken a wrap of its latest two-wheeler in India. The company showcases its much-awaited MOJO UT 300 and has priced at 1.49 lakhs. The company is offering ten thousand rupees introductory benefit on the MOJO, valid till March 2018. MOJO UT is based on 2015’s original MOJO while stripped off new features in its current model. The company says UT in the name stands for “Universal Tourer”.
Mahindra MOJO UT 300 gets a super-smooth 295cc single-cylinder unit engine which comes with two major changes. Firstly, the engine is no more fuel-injected and comes with 22.7 bhp power output which gives pleasant riding experience. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and the torque drops from 30 Nm on the XT 300 to 25.2 Nm on the UT300.
Chief Executive Officer at Mahindra, Prakash Wakankar said, “With the launch of the Mojo UT 300, we believe that we have an exciting product offering for the new age bike enthusiast. With the launch of this new variant, the Mojo will now be available to a wider range of consumers in more than 60 cities across India.”
MOJO UT 300 misses out some features on the LED daytime running lamps, but its salient features include 17-inch tubeless tires from MRF, a gas charged mainshock rear suspension, 320 mm petal front disc brake and a 240 mm unit at the rear.
Additionally, the bike gets a semi-digital instrument console, 21-liter fuel tank and it also get the new ocean blue paint scheme that also available for XT. The price difference between Mojo XT300 and Mojo UT300 is of 35,000 as Mahindra’s new bike priced at 1.49 lakh.
